Welcome to the
Oneida County Library
Our library is located close to downtown Malad City, Idaho, next to the city park. Because of the generous donations of many, including the Redfield Foundation, we have a new children's addition. We have a collection of over 26,000 items including books, magazines, reference materials, videos, DVDs, music CDs, and audio books. Our library system is automated so it is easy to search our computers for titles, authors, subjects, series, teacher book lists, and even accelerated reading. We also offer free internet access on our computers.
Talking Book Service (TBS) is available at the library. Sponsered by the Idaho Commission for Libraries it is a free service to patrons who no longer can read standard print due to a physical disability.
There are three different ways to renew your books. Click on this link to find out how.
Introducing the TUMBLEBOOK LIBRARY:
About the TumbleBookLibrary:
Thanks to a generous grant by the Idaho Commission of Libraries, we have been given an extension on our Tumblebooks subscription. The TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) with fiction, non-fiction and foreign language titles, Read-Alongs (chapter books with sentence highlighting and narration but no animation), TumbleTV which consists of pre-set playlists of a sequence of books, and Tumble Puzzles & Games.
TumbleBooks are created from existing picture books which we have licensed from children's book publishers and converted to the TumbleBook format.
