We have adult and teen computers that are free for pubic use. We have Microsoft Office, a scanner, and free internet. You can sign into your email, google accounts, and other accounts you might need to access. Staff are not allowed to access any private accouts or type for you. If you need help, bring someone with you who can help you.
Enjoy Bbooks and Eaudiobooks for free. Ebooks, audiobooks, magazines and more are available for checkout on your device or computer. The LiLI.org databases includes free access to online tools for Idaho Residents. These tools inlcude helps for educational, business, and recreational purposes. These databases give access to thousands of newspapers, magazines, professional journals, and reference materials. Included in LiLI are databases that include auto repair, health information, language learning, computer lessons, and much more!
We have faxing available at the library. Both outgoing and incoming faxes are $1.00 per page. Our fax number is 208.647.4006. We can also send to someone's email if you want something scanned to email. The price is the same. You can also self-serve your owon scanning at one of the computer stations and email yourself, However, faxing is not self-serve and is $1.00 per sheet.
Our teen club meets every first Monday afterschool. Some of our activities include, VR (Virtual Reality) ages 13 and above, Robotices, Coding, Games, STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, Mathmatics) Activities, 3-D Printers. Reading Group and more...The teens are always meeting and coming up with their own ideas to try. Come meet with us!
he Talking Book Service has more than 115,000 audio books and 70 magazine titles. The collection contains fiction and nonfiction topics ranging from astronomy to westerns. Reading levels range from very easy to adult. Plus, users can receive books and magazines in braille, enjoy books about Idaho’s history and lifestyle, and listen to more than 200 daily newspapers!
Our library has a nice photocopy machine. The machine can copy on different size paper including 8 1/2 x 11, 8 1/2 x 14, and 11 x17. We let you use plain paper or cardstock. the machine is not self-serve, we help you will all of your copying needs. You can copy or print to black and white or color copies. From September to April we have preschool story hours for our little ones ages 0-5. There are two groups for 0-2 or 3-5. There is always a story and craft. This runs every Tuesday @ 12:30 pm except for holidays. Also, keep posted for our Summer Reading program! summer Reading starts the first Tuesday in June @ 12:30 pm at the park. summer Reading goes for 5 sessions and a party. We hope you will join us.
